iPhone Security Problems in China?

According to Reuters, Chinese state media on Friday branded Apple Inc’s iPhone a threat to national security because of the smartphone’s ability to track and time-stamp user locations. Apple’s competitor, Samsung also has the means to track phones and log locations, however it is not made by the evil Americans.

I suppose the iPhone could really be a threat to state security if too many Chinese started using the ethics finder app . . . this is more a sign of insecurity than a lack of security!

It’s a national security threat because a lot of Chinese officials don’t want to be caught hanging out with their mistresses and have their wives find out about it.

The CCP is so paranoid because they have done so much evil that they fear the retribution that could come in any form, shape, or manner.

Which in turns feed into their paranoia. It’s a viciously cycle of paranoia. Maybe they need to bring the KMT back. KMT has pretty much put them to shame post 1949 in how they managed taiwan as opposed to the CCP with the mainland.

Despite all the cheap legal “cheats” that chinese engage in they still don’t have a brand that can compete with the likes of Samsung and so forth.
