Taiwanese Report: Samsung is Going to “Kill” Their Country

by WangKon936 on March 23, 2013

in Korean Economy

Economically, of course.  Yesterday, the Taiwanese press has been live with reports that there has been an internal Samsung memo discovered that claims it will “kill Taiwan.”  Originally reported in the Taiwanese “Business Today” magazine, the claim is that Samsung has actively adopted a strategy to specifically attack Taiwan’s largest companies such as Hon Hai Group and TMSC.  The apparent targets themselves have been mum about the claims, but most other major Taiwanese CEOs doubt it.

Is there a Korean Henny Youngman? If so, what’s the equivalent of ‘Tip your _____ ‘ or ‘Try the chiggae’? Try the chiggae?

As my Taiwanese American friend says, Taiwan is petrified of China and has a strange infatuation with Japan. So all their frustrations and paranoid impulses flow to Korea.

Who cares?

Too bad korea doesn’t give a shit about taiwan.

Given the ridiculous BS that went on when the Korea-America FTA was being signed, I can just imagine the protests outside the American embassy had this been a large American munlt-national with a sizebable stake in the Korean economy.

It may well be true and it’s not the best choice of words. But seriously, show some respect.

Shouldn’t they be directing their paranoia to China?

Mmm, you realize that “La” is a feminine article while “Coréen” is masculine, right?

Yeah, really. Maybe they are too afraid of them.

Jaded former ESL ‘teachers’ in Korea and sycophants aside, who really gives a sht about Korea?

Do you think most people even know Samsung is Korean, or better still, respect Korea more so knowing that their cheapo TV is Korean?

‘Hey, I just bought a new toaster!’

‘No shit! Where’s it from?’

‘Walmart’

‘No,where’sit originally from?’

‘Korea’

‘Fuck, I’m jealous. They make the best toasters and they have a strong economic and racial model that I’m very jealous of’

Same with Japan. Korea is just a distraction for all these pussies.

14 LaCoreen March 24, 2013 at 3:15 am

Maybe I did it intentionally.

16 yangachibastardo March 24, 2013 at 6:30 am

Your obsession with toasters is quite creepy

17 keyinjpop March 24, 2013 at 8:35 am

Pretty sure my toaster was made in China, like everything else in the US.

And maybe I’m the queen of England.

“Where is taiwan?” That’s what my Korean friends are asking.

I’ve stayed in Taiwan for number of years. As a person of motherland chinese background, taiwanese people are more pettier than Koreans or Chinese when it comes to bashing and hating on another country. They take it to another level. People don’t know about about taiwanese or taiwan in general because the world doesn’t care about this little dinky island.

Trust me on this.

You win.
