I’d apologize for the lack of posts around here this week—or I would apologize, but a commenter told me long ago not to do that.
Anyway, it’s been a busy week. And besides, many of the posts that would have went up would have dealt with Japan, so perhaps it’s for the best.

First!
Just don’t apologize for thinking of apologizing, or you’ll be sorry!

I’d like to apologize for being 4th.
IOC must apologize for permitting the rising sun imperial flag at the Olympic games: http://twicsy.com/i/hpHX9b
Q should apologize for repeating himself so much.
There are happy students in S. Korea

King Pojang must apologize for letting Daoism bring about the downfall of Koguryo.
I did not write #6. Somebody used the same name.
MB visiting Dokto and bring a load of shit to Korea. Why?
He is not stupid. Then why?
The Chinese is behind this. Or, Japanese ultra-nationalists (the shit-face fogies).
In any case, something big is brewing and we are witnessing a historic event unfolding. The Korea-Japan war? Or, my favorite historical necessity, the China-Japan war?
It will be coming soon. Mass destruction and reshaping of CJK world.
Some Koreans should disguise themselves as the Chinese and ram the Japanese police boat at Senkaku islands. Even do amphibious landing on the islands and claim them for the Chinese.
To make the Japanese and the Chinese to go to war.
The Japanese will forget about Dokto.
Yeongung,
Why? Pojang was a puppet king set-up by Maripkan Yeon Gaesomun.
Mr. Marmot, could you remove the commenter who wrote #6?
Oh really, WangKon? You know more than me. I was just making a reference to another post…

…and continuing the theme of apologizing.
Here’s how you apologize.

It seems like there so many parodies of Gangnam style.
Craash/YOTD banned.
“Craash/YOTD banned.”
Damn, I missed what happened.
Craash/YOTD/James/Jakgani was posting under Q’s name, not to mention using multiple IDs.
Beer, Mitt Romney, and God…

#16 & #18:
Finally. And it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving bloke.
We don’t make fun of the banned, Hamel.
You know, it used to be much simpler some years ago when guys would just dress up in women’s clothes and use different names in bars. Nowadays, all the dogs have internet.
I think Robert should have an annual mystery Marmot’s Hole party where people show up and don’t say who they are but people vote for who-is-who.
That would make for some funny shiz.
I’m sure someone would be cheeky enough to wear a hanbok and claim they were Robert too. ^_^
@25, were you referring to Kushibo? I don’t know if he ever put on women’s clothes, but he sure did like to put us on with women’s socks.
These girls are rocking.

@28 I guess, if you have the musical taste of a fifteen year old boy.
Video of Nelly Furtado dancing to Psy’s Gangnam Style posted on her YT channel, here:

Haha.
1) Roly may be a lunatic but he’s often not far off the truth: D-Unit is a fuckin’ bomb and the only female rookie of 2012 with stardom potential. They remind me of 2009-2010 2ne1, before they became too bloated
2) I think Itaewon is a jinxed place, particularly the fuckin’ Hamilton hotel. Bad things always happen to me there. Saturday i was walking up down the street when all of a sudden i missed a strangely shaped sidewalk and sprayed my right foot…after i just finished recovering from 4 micro fractures on the very same foot
3) On a serious note i wanted to ask all the sporty guys here at the Marmot if they can suggest me anything, on top of seeing a serious ostheopatist, to fix my bones. They seem to fall apart here and there very often and very easily and it’s getting more difficult to recover. Interestingly enough i’ve been doing more boxing work recently but i don’t have problems with my hands. My legs instead are betraying me.
Also i’m not that happy with my muscles and ligaments condition either…
# 31,
You whipped it out along the sidewalk and pissed yourself/foot after having some micro brews? Poor aim, worse than missing the urinal. I’ve logged more kg’s on foot the past 2 months since I was in my teens or when I bought my first car with my own money. It’s in the tap water, don’t drink it. Good luck with Rehab.
Thanks man i’ll need it
“My legs . . . are betraying me.”
My whole body’s betraying me! Not that I want to punish that culprit . . .

YB @#31,
Ouch.. That sucks.
(How did you get the micro-fractures in your foot?)
jk: i was doing kick work at the gym, i didn’t even think it was that bad, but after 2 weeks the pain was not going away so i went to the hospital and found out the ugly truth !
#31 YB,
Now how the hell am I going to buy you that beer if you can’t walk to the bar? Man, fewer impact sports and more calcium in your diet for a while. You might also see a dietician and get their opinion on how to strengthen dem bones.
Oh, and I saw on TV that the DPRK is holding an international trade fair in Rason – anyone going, and, more importantly, is there anyone other than the Chinese (who aren’t altruistic at all) who are altruistic enough to put money into the DPRK and think they won’t get pooched?
And finally, because it’s an Open Thread and it’s got a Dragon in it….

Definitely calms the teenage girl-listening-to-The-Bieb in me – I trust for you as well.
You’re welcome.
YB,
That’s scary.
I guess I better think twice before letting loose on a kicking bag.
Take it easy man.
CTV reported on its scrawl this a.m. that the jury’s decision re Apple and Samsung may be reached today.
My experience is that in both federal and state court, the judge has the authority to determine the order of closing statements and jury instructions.
Justice Koh has apparently opted to begin today with jury instructions, with both Apple and Samsung getting two hours this afternoon to make closing statements. THEN the case heads to the jury.
But with a 20-page verdict form to work out, I would not expect the jury to come back with a decision anytime soon.
But then again, I could be wrong. I often am!

#42,
Thanks for the correction – I bow to your experience. Hey, have you ever argued before the Supreme Court?
No, not even close. It remains a long-term goal.
I once got to argue at the Ninth Circuit, though.
