Perhaps ethnicity not mentioned because it’s that sort of Korean news writing where you deliberately avoid mentioning the obvious so as to not make the main subject of the story look bad.
And I mean that in all seriousness. It would’ve had to have been in the headline if mentioned at all. It’s entirely within the realm of possibility that the powers that manage her specifically asked that it not be mentioned.

And Lee Hyori is my favourite Korean celebrity. She seems like the most “normal” girl of the lot. I also dig that she’s a bit older than the teenage k-pop set and is still killing it.
Thanks for the Shin Mina link, Yuna. We’re very much pro-Shin Mina here at the Marmot’s Hole. We’re also pro-Cho Sun-hee, too. I’m guessing it was Cho Sun-hee working that shoot. Sounded like her, anyway.

As hypocritical as it makes me, I do find something disturbing about those pictures. Maybe it’s not that he’s white, but that he just looks… evil. Maybe if it were James May, I’d feel better about it.
