in Korea in the War on Terror, ROK-US Issues

Korean and American F-16s on the ground in Gunsan.

It’s been nearly 40 years since the F-16′s first flight, and it’s still a fine-looking aircraft.

Oh, and for still more gun porn, check out these shots of Korean police and military counter-terrorism teams engaging in drills at COEX, the venue of the upcoming Nuclear Security Summit.

UPDATE: More on the security preparations for the nuke security summit. The sniper rifle is apparently a Brit-made AW-50 anti-materiel rifle.

#2,

No, they are real. 60 F-16 and KF-16′s.

Not a target at all. They aren’t just parked there. Notice the pilots? I think they are in holding-pattern.

I hadn’t assumed they were just parked, but I had assumed it gonna be dufficult getting the all off the ground in quick order that tightly packed.
