“Bad News for Divorced Men Who Learn Nothing from Suffering” you mean.

Kindness and a humble attitude in a man is a virtue though many people, at first meeting, take this for a weakness; divorced women tend to take this as a strength.

That’s good, I guess.

The group I didn’t get was the 12.3 percent for men and 14 percent for women who wanted a non-divorced parter for “physical purity.” Who the hell wants a partner who doesn’t know what the hell he/she is doing?

@robert re: comment 2:

If they don’t know what they’re doing, then they’re not going to know that I don’t know what I’m doing, either.

I really wonder just how much picking a spouse lines up with getting a dog.

Sure, a puppy’s love is yours and yours alone, but the dog you get at the pound knows just how bad things can get, so loves you a bit deeper.

Good analogy, JD.

Hey, that was great. But just how, where and with whom did you learn how to do all of those things?

Very nice, JD. Almost makes me wanna go back to the animal shelter and save a dog – I say “almost” because the last time I went there to rescue a dog they demanded I commit 40 hours of service before I could take a dog home. 40 hours???! I understand the need to make sure I’m not just taking Lassie home for a free pot of dog soup, but does that really require a full working week of servitude? Maybe I shoulda just offered them 500 bucks. Don’t know how else they’re gonna “rescue” any dogs.
