Odds and Ends 25/11/09

The gov’ment is drafting a bill that would ban Koreans deported from a country from reentering said country. Basically, this is aimed at Korean missionaries working in Muslim countries.
Korea will double its aid to Africa by 2012.
According to CNN, Rain has “all the trimmings of an international superstar in the making.”
Work has been completed on Independence Gate. Thank God.
Gee, another makgeolli story.
A Korean research center has constructed a model of a 16-year-old girl from the ancient Korean kingdom of Gaya who was buried alive with her king some 1,500 years ago. They based their model on her skeleton, which was unearthed from a tomb in Gyeongsangnam-do.
Well, I’m partial to Lee Ji-su. Definitely a model Adi Barkan could use.

I wonder if they can model out Queen Heo Hwang-ok’s skull. It would be interesting to see if she looked Indian.

Y’know, some people don’t get to take several months out of their lives to do nothing but work out.
