Michelle Wie Gets her First LPGA Tour Win

by WangKon936 on November 16, 2009

Well, what do you know.  Michelle Wie’s previous individual win of note was in 2003 at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship when she was at the tender age of 14.  However, yesterday at the age of 20, Michelle Wie popped her LPGA cherry by winning the Lorena Ochoa Invitational.

Congratulations Michelle.  Here’s hoping that you are finally heading in the right direction.

Holy shit, was it that good?

In other sports news–we koreans had our last chance against the Pac Man back in 2000…unfortunately, that chance evaporated rather quickly in the FIRST frikken round. :(

Win a couple more within this year and hopefully Team Wie will get another invite from the Sony people! I’d put money on her chances of making the cut at a PGA eventually. Not a lot money, that’s true. heh heh heh

About time too. I was beginning to get pissed off with Wee for thinking she had a willy and competing only in men’s tournaments….it was driving me potty.
