Nice to see Hideki Matsui win the World Series MVP, too.
I Guess Joe Girardi Won’t Be Getting Fired

Too bad it doesn’t guarantee they will re-sign him.
Which would be a shame. I like the guy a lot — he just goes out there and does his job.
I’d say his job is safe as long as they can’t find anyone who they can’t pay more.
Amazing that he still needed a translator. Good player though and deserving of the MVP.
Marmot, you probably haven’t read this news yet, but the story goes that Girardi and his wife helped this woman in a car crash. They stayed with this woman after a crash until the police came. She didn’t know who he was, but the story goes the police officer asked her, “Do you know who just helped you out?”
I liked this article, but I DO not like that no females were mentioned, when describing the recent accomplishments Asian athletes have been recognized for. Um, Kim Yuna, anyone?!
Yeah, I like Matsui…he seems like a really good guy and good sportsman. But I was just sorry to see the Yankees win the WS. =T
I guess I’m tired of the Pinstripes.
