Foreigners are apparently more positive about life in Seoul than Koreans:
A survey of 1,000 foreigners by Seoul City showed that expatriates responded more positively to their living environment than Seoulites did.
The expatriates rated their life in Seoul at 62.4 out of 100 points, compared with 53.6 for Seoullites.
The survey covered three categories – residential environment including housing, transportation, water and power supply; the cost of living; and social environment for welfare, medical facilities and more.
There were 255,500 registered expatriates from 152 countries living in Seoul last year, accounting for 2.4 percent of the city’s total population, a five-fold jump in a decade.

Not me!
Hmnnn, I’d be VERY interested to know what this rating is exclusively among american expats. If it ended up being higher than the rating among seoulites, it’s be quite an interesting result.
Hmm, it looks like all my interventions in these threads over the years have done some good. ^-
Hey, that movie 반두비 is very very interesting, and well acted. High teen korean girl even smacks lips with dark colored bangladeshi! Amazing. I want to call it ground breaking, but then left leaning movie directors in korea are half expected to shake things up, aren’t they? Netizen Kim will especially like the part where the spunky girl attacks a white english teacher by grabbing him by the balls.
Can’t be that shocking, all of those expats, excepting our soldiers, are there by choice. Must be something they like about being there. Res ipsa loquitur?
Could be, the foreigners are happy helping all the lonely wives learn a little English for free and don’t mind doing house calls while dad’s ah, working late at the office.
Classy, Hitest.
Yeah, and 200,000 of those “foreigners” are Chinese nationals.
I’d like to see the poll of Western expats. I bet the conclusions will be totally different.
