A 19-year-old man has been busted for calling 25 of his former female classmates with a video phone and beating off.
This apparently took place over a six-month period.
Said the man to police, “It started out of pure curiosity, but I didn’t know it would get to this point.”
You’d think in the age of Youporn, such people would have found more socially constructive outlets for their urges. Alas.
And in other off-color news, an 18-year-old dude in Cheongju has been arrested for blackmailing a 43-year-old woman after she allegedly got involved with him while he was working as a noraebang boy.
He and his two friends were booked, while the woman is under investigation on charges of having sex with a minor.

I thought that case with the homeless girl and the old guy who took her in reconfirmed that the age of consent in korea is 13 yrs. Is is that for girls only?
Rapes, murders and now this? Seems like Cheongju has gone way down hill since I called it home a few years ago!

As far as I know, the age of consent in Korea is 13. I’d think that the fact that made the previous action illegal, was she supposedly paid –directly or indirectly– to have sex with a minor. After all, he was working at the time they met.
If the guy who helped that homeless girl you mentioned had offered money for sex, he would be in the slammer right now… and rightfully so!

Having consent sex with minor is not crime in Korea but dealing with prostitution is illegal, I’m guessing that 40 yrs old lady was paying 18 yrs old dude for some quickie. But fact was he was 18 not 13. I’m guessing South Korea is still men oriented society. From what I understood was anyone below 21 yrs old in Korea is considered as minor. So having consent sex with 13 yrs old girl is believed to be crime. Unless you are rich & powerful person that can get away with anything.
