Beautiful Yecheon

Also courtesy Navercast, “Korea Geographic” goes to Yecheon, a rather under-appreciated town in the northern reaches of Gyeongsangbuk-do. Some wonderful photos, so please, check it out… and while you’re at it, check out the rest of “Korea Georgraphic” as well.

You’ll recall I visited Yecheon last fall… and have the photos to prove it.

Gyeongsangbuk-do, or Kyŏngsang-bukto as I call it, rules. I’ve lived here for ten years and wouldn’t live anywhere else in Korea.

oh YEAH?? what’s so wrong with Gyeongsang-NAMdo, or Kyŏngsang-NAMto as you might call it, you bigoted-geographicalist??!! Sure it ain’t got Gyeongju or Buseok-sa, but what are Haein-sa and Tongdo-sa and the Yeongnam Alps, chopped liver?
