Party time political links

Just a few political links today.

The Democrats have elected Lee Kang-rae as their new National Assembly floor leader. Lee will likely support Chung Dong-young returning to the party.

The Democrats also started work on reinventing their party. Perhaps this time they will try changing their name or splitting into different parties. It has worked wonders for them before.

The GNP will have its next round in the Lee Myung-bak/Park Geun-hye slug fest this Thursday when they elect a new National Assembly floor leader.

I have had my old habbit of linking to all my KT pieces slapped out of me, but I will make an exception in this case since it deals with the GNP floor leader fight and bashes Park Geun-hye. That is something I think one of my favorite ex-expat (would that be repat?) K-bloggers would appreciate.

In case you are wondering, the floor leader is a similar position to the party whip in some other countries and enforces party discipline.
