Look at the comments on the story. Most of them are hipsters attacking the “snitch” for working with the cops and ratting this chick out.
And therein lies the true genius of the hipster grifter. I was telling my wife this the other week, that this chick Ferrell picked the perfect targets. Maybe she is really a hipster herself, likes indy music, etc., or maybe it’s all a sham. Either way, hipsters are the perfect people to target for crimes because they will never go to the police. They have too much indy cred, too much “damn the man” sentiment, that even after getting screwed out of thousands, they will not go to the cops. This is why Ferrell got away with it for so long. Think about it. A criminal who targets only people who despise cops. Fucking genius.

Asian fetish or no, the one thing I find interesting, judging by the many comments left on all the hipster-grifter related articles, is how much benefit of the doubt she seems to still enjoy even after all her cunning deception has been revealed.
I think if the hipster-grifter had been a black woman or, better yet, an asian guy the response would have been very different.

Although I don’t think she’s ugly, after having watched the video I am forced to retract the statement I made in the other thread about her being cute. That statement was based on what I now know to be a rather flatering picture of her.
