Capture the Moon . . .

This amusing video of Kim Jong-Il”s plan to use rockets to bring the moon to North Korea is clever parody of North Korean propaganda.

That was pretty funny, but the funniest thing about it is some of the user comments on Youtube, e.g.:

why is nobody talking about how dangerous this could be? won’t this mess up our gravity, our oceans, and potentially kill people? i hope kim jong il changes his mind, i mean he’s proposed some crazy shit in the past, but this is just nuts.

and (hahaha):

I think a bigger issue is the proposed removal of the American flag! We can’t allow this to happen! WE MUST TAKE THE MOON FIRST!

Wait, that’s not real?

I think the house Republicans wanted President Obama to include, in the bailout plan, funding so that America can include the moon in our missile defense program.

Perhaps we could create jobs for America by putting out-of-work personnel from the banking industry to work, on the moon. I think this might be a win/win idea situation too.

Actually, this video is really not that funny. If you’re sober, that is. But if you watch it while stoned, then it will seem a genius work of hilarity. Which is prolly the reason why R Elgin liked it enough to find it blog-worthy.

How many of you watched it? How many of you watched it again after getting high? Big difference, no?

“NK” if intelligence and wisdom ever came from using a drug, then you would indeed be considered the epitome of sobriety.

NK, are you saying you know what it’s like to get stoned? Aren’t drugs in Korea illegal? Shame on you!

Careful, Darth.

The translators are unlikely to understand “stoned” or “high”. Too colloquial. But they will understand “drugs” and “illegal”.
