You no doubt remember when the Munhwa Ilbo ran what were supposedly nude photos of disgraced former Dongguk University professor Shin Jeong-ah.
Well, a court has fined the Munhwa and its managing editor 150 million won, but at the same time ruled that the photos were, in fact, genuine.

Talk of nude, but no nude. WTF? Ban yourself.
That’s an understatement. Saudi textbook and media censors leave less to the imagination than the Munhwa Ilbo did, and that silly rectangle cut-and-paste was probably more aesthetically appealing than what lay underneath.
