This grasshopper was caught in October and despite losing its hind legs (it has four now) and his wing tips turning brown, it is the only one of its kind in Korea to see snow. I only wonder just how long these guys can live but, for now, he is a guest, living on my rosemary plant, in the living room.

4:39PM is a little early to be drinking and/or smoking, isn’t it Elgin?
R.Elgin’s definitely smoking some shit.
Rosemary plant ? Is that what they are calling it now? In my day it was oregano:)
Happy gardening!
Ummm, very funny guys.
I posted on this guy because the bug keeps going and when I look them up on the web, I can’t find anything that says how long they can live — anywhere. I guess I admire the fact that the guy is a survivor since he is probably the last one left alive from this year.
I suppose life seems that much more precious and fragile after one gets to be a little older too, regardless of wether one is a person or a grasshopper.
