In light of Sen. Ted Stevens losing in Alaska to Mark Begich its worth giving an update to this post. Stevens was a vote for the CAFTA used in the model. How will Begich vote? Well, here is his rhetoric:
NAFTA has not worked as predicted, costing an estimated 1 million American jobs. NAFTA, CAFTA and the bilateral free trade agreements negotiated by the Bush administration have helped big business while hurting middle class Americans.
Looks like one more vote against passage of the KORUS FTA.
