Hilary Clinton Loves Hanbok, Gov. Palin

by Robert Koehler on October 1, 2008

OK, maybe not Gov. Palin, but she apparently likes hanbok:

U.S. Senator Hilary Clinton visited the Lee Young Hee Museum of Korean Culture in Korean Town in Manhattan on Monday afternoon, where she said she loves the bright colors of hanbok and has a collection herself. Monday’s visit was part of a fundraiser for her political activities.

Clinton (61) thanked the museum for offering an opportunity for Americans and the descendants of Korean immigrants who are unfamiliar with Korean culture to learn about it.

Oh, she also said we needed a change of government to overcome the current financial crisis.

Being able to get $300k from Korean Americans in one fund raising night also helps…

Is she still paying off the campaign debt from the primaries?

Loves it so much that she won’t wear it to a meeting with Koreans…to protect it…from damage, ya know.

I know hanbok has a lot of fabric, but enough to cover her enormous ass!? Shenanigans!

Wow! She really was telling the truth at the Dem’s convention. She is going campaign hard to put Barak Obama in the White House, and prove to the critics she is not a self-aggrandizing shrew. Oh wait…

hanboks can be pretty like flowers but western celebs tend to be dressed up in the most ill or mis-matched hanboks. it’s like brain fart day everytime a korean stylist goes to dress up a western celeb. and they always have to have that small little hat.

i hate that.

…for Americans and the descendants of Korean immigrants…

I hope those actual words were the reporter’s not Senator Clinton’s, for the descendants of Korean immigrants are Americans, too.

@6 Not so sure, didn’t she make a comment once about Ghandi pumping gas in St. Louis?

#7 That sounds more like something Biden would say.
