A Nigerian drug smuggler was extradited to Seoul on Wednesday, reports the Korea Times.
This after a number of Koreans serving as mules were busted overseas:
The extradition was initially designed to help reduce the prison terms of Koreans imprisoned in Britain, the Netherlands, Brazil and Japan, who were accomplices of Chinedu, but due to delays in the extradition process, all had already finished their prison terms and returned to Korea.
The ministry said that the 10 Korean women and two Korean men caught and sent to foreign prisons while delivering drugs, did not know what they were carrying.
The government has long attempted to prove the Koreans were victims of the drug smuggling.
Chinedu, the leader of an international drug ring, and known to speak eight languages including Korean and English, opened a bogus company in Itaewon, Seoul in the early 2000s, according to police.
Passing himself off as an American businessman, he used young Koreans to deliver cocaine and marijuana, which he got from Thailand and Brazil, to drug traffickers in Netherlands, Denmark, Britain and Japan. They simply believed they were getting a free trip to a foreign country in return for the delivery of “clothing samples.”
On a positive note, after escaping from a Danish prison in 2004, he taught Korean in Nigeria.

As I have observed before, if I were immigration officials in Korea I would triple check any Nigerian doing business in Korea because they really are globally infamous for being smart and reliable criminals; teaching Korean in Nigeria is not a positive note”, IMHO because of the use it would be put to.

Yep, normally characterizing people from a particular country as being engaged in crime would be racial profiling, that is unless said example had not become legendary and commonplace for such activities.
Like, say, countries in the Middle East? It’s “racial” (national?) profiling either way. You’re just saying that it’s justified in some cases, with which I’m happy to agree if conducted under certain constraints.
