There are unconfirmed reports that five Chinese doctors traveled to Pyongyang and have been treating Kim Jong-il for three weeks. Last year, German doctors reportedly performed heart surgery on Kim, who is diabetic.

To quote Danny Elfman, “No one lives forever”.

KJI could presumably afford superior European doctors. If he is indeed being treated by Chinese doctors, then perhaps either his condition was sufficiently urgent that he couldn’t wait for European doctors, or the Chinese were chosen for political reasons (he feared assassination, etc.).

Maybe this will be the real “November surprise” that has been mentioned to me. Regardless of what happens, I guess I am as prepared as anyone can get.

It’s really telling that Kim Jong Il fears the medical “care” he’ll get from his subjects if he went under the knife.

The Chinese doctors treating KJI were probably trained at top universities abroad and serve members of the Politburo and the superrich. I know first-hand that good medical care is available in China to those who can afford it and costs less than what Americans pay after insurance covers its share of an inflated bill.

Sonagi, no wonder it costs so much, if you Amercians are having to import superior doctors from Europe.
