Many of them had Chinese flags to help sway the crowd but it had no effect. Just goes to show the next decades promise to be quite interesting up here in NE Asia ... Yeah, the cheer for the Aussies was quite loud. Could be the Kevin Rudd effect, maybe the Chinese populace are informed that our PM is a Mandarin-speaking Sinophile (albeit one who has had the nerve to criticise China) hence the applause.
