So, you want more pictures of early modern Korean buildings?

by Andy Jackson on July 15, 2008

The Hole’s Dear Leader did a quick review of some the the gems of early modern Korean architecture in a piece over at the Korea Times.

It is worth reading, if for no other reason than to check out more of his cool pictures.

Land disputes HAVE been amicably settled before:

this one between Peru and Ecuador was a contributing cause to THREE wars between the two countries, and was settled by DIPLOMACY (not bee men) in the 1990s.

It CAN be done. It HAS been done. Can somebody call those negotiators out of retirement, kind of like the opening scenes of Mission Impossible 3?

(imagined dialogue:)
“I’m out of the game now, Dave. I can’t.”
“We need you, Ethan. You’re the only one who can do this.”
(sigh) “I’m getting too old for his shit.”
