KTO’s 4th Event Tour To The DMZ

The Korea Tourism Organization is hosting their 4th event tour. This time around, a select group will get to travel to the DMZ. Anyone wishing to take advantage of this trip can register through the above link. I have been on two before, one to Jeollanam-do and Gangwon-do, and they’re a great way to get out and explore Korea. The premise behind these tours is essentially to participate and share stories with others that are either new to Korea or those that have lived here longer and simply want to get out and visit some hard-to-reach places they wouldn’t other wise be able to see on larger scale tours. I recently visited Panmunjeom and it was a pretty great experience.

    Thanks for the heads-up Gregory.
BTW, is “Gregory Curley” your real name or a euphemism? Do you watch 일박이일? Any chance of the KTO helping to organize an English episode with Robert Koehler, Eva, Isaac, Djamilya, Jeffrey Jones, Ayumi and David Mason? Maybe a visit to an English village or something. Perhaps you could cap off the tour with a dinnner in Insadong.
The international promotional power would be strong and the program could be shown on incoming flights to Korea.

You know what made me chuckle was the itinerary for this trip:

At Cheorwon (A nice bird-watching place too):

    - tunnel
    - Peace observatory
    - pass Woljeongni station
    - “Headquarters of the Labor Party”

    DLP Headquarters? WTF!!

Now I should ask just who is running the KTO.
