I’ve completed most work on the new blog theme. OK, it’s actually the same theme — Sandbox — just different CSS.
Using the site browsershots.org — kindly recommended by Chiamattt yesterday — the design seems to be working OK across all browsers and platforms… including IE6. If you’re still having problems, or have some tips/suggestions you would like to share, please, let me know.
The new design seems to be loading a bit more quickly, too.
The banner photo, in case you were curious, was taken at Magoksa Temple, in Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do.

Brown and grey header pic, maroon logo with yellow text, green sidebar, dusty rose right-side trim… I think you need to trim the palette down a little!
I know it’s fun to try, but these monthly template changes are like when you come home to your apartment and discover your gf has repainted. It’s still “home” but slightly unsettling…
What I’m saying is I enjoy your site much more when I wake up in the morning and can mindlessly navigate it without thought! Keep up the great writing though.
Looks fine in IE7 / Vista.
and Magok-sa rocks!
I’m using Firefox and the them looks good. I like the color scheme and the banner picture is good shot as well.
I like the banner, too.
Don’t worry too much about the ads. Readers can always surf in the privacy of their homes.
It looks great and loads quicker than before running FF and Safari.
Looks good to me, mostly because you have the perfect banner photo for the color theme.
I am using Firefox 3 (1280×1024 monitor resolution). There is this empty column on the right, and the links being on the left side is kinda disorienting.
Nice banner.
looks good but on my 24″ wide I have a vast desert like blank on the right
Colors are ok, but technically I prefer right sidebars. That’s because you’re starting to read from left. But what the heck I’ll stick to RSS anyway
Good work btw and greetings from Germany
the “serious teachers” add is the first thing that grabs me which is probably not what you are after. as we all know, “serious teachers” is like saying “honest politicians” and is laughable. dave sperling himself could not come up with a more cheesey attempt haha. other then that is looks good but i like the menus and links on the right.
gay asian singles???? i hope you have misread your readership.
Nice work. Thanks!
Looks good on Mac OS X Leopard in Safari and FF3.
But I am definitely starting to feel the pinch of my PowerBook’s 1024×768 display…
