Some libertarians may have, ahem, issues with former Drug Warrior and Clinton-impeachment spearhead Bob Barr, but I guess there’s still hope — he’s named Marmot’s Hole favorite Doug “Why the Hell Do We Still Have Troops in Europe and Korea?” Bandow as his issues coordinator.

whats really funny is the libertarians have a las vegas bookie as their vp candidate. wayne root in one the biggest names in the sports handicapping business. used to see him all the time during football season on informercials promoting his service.

Poor libertarians..is Ron Paul and Bob Barr really the best they can offer?
Just to make things clear, Ron Paul is a republican, and he is more true to the republican ideals of small government and conservative fiscal policy than current “republicans.” In fact, the current group has has so little in common with the original republicans that they should have started their own party. Since when did pre-emptive war and stifling dissent become a necessity?
And seeing as how an apparent majority of commenters here are pro-Obamba, I humbly ask that you read or reread the Constitution. We all know how unconstitutional it is for our country to be engaged in extended military engagements (not war, because Congress never declared it), but please note that it is/should not be the federal government’s job to be our baby-sitter — it should not be the source of financial insurance or retirements funds or medical services. That’s up to the states.
Where have you gone, Harry Browne? Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you.
