oh… and the younger Korean Americans in the mid 20’s to mid 30’s don’t really a crap about what goes on in Korea, unless the World Cup rolls around and it’s just a great excuse to wave the tae guk and get drunk and get laid.

And the reason that you are participating here is?

# 66,

The Korean American older generation love LMB and by in large thought thought that Roh was a commie sympathizer.

Once I was watching Tae Guk Gi in Cerritos, CA there was this old timer sitting behind me. When that girl got shot by the death squads I heard the old guy say, "the bitch must die." Whoa, that was hardcore.

By and large the older Korean Americans tend to be more conservative. Now sites like igoo and Asia's Finest are populated by teenagers and college lower classmen who side with viewpoints that retain the most nationalistic pride. AF is particularly notorious for there being flame wars between different asians as to which group is the best looking, has the whitest skin, has the least amount of Chinese genetic markers, and other stupid shit. In other words it's a waste of time other then pictures of hot asian girls that's posted on there from time to time.

:-O A gyopo commenter NOT following the stereotypical image created by the idiotic mode of thought of 'Us vs. Them'? Heavens to Betsy! Cm, how dare you have independent thoughts that does not fit the expectations that others have for your kind?

Cm, while I agree that the protests are irrational (when put politely), the best and easiest solution would be to have the K-MSM to run the fact that the beef is safe (I'm sorry, did I say the easiest? I meant practically impossible, considering the nature of K-MSM). But I do think it's for the best if the high-risk parts of the beef that Koreans are very fond of (사골 comes to mind...) are limited to 30 & under, since apparently that's the FDA's judgment as well (assuming that this wasn't already the part of the FTA). Perhaps the issue never came up in the States because, well, how many Americans eat cow spinal cord marrows? But I can think of couple of Korean recipes that involve them.

And I still maintain that some of you guys are taking this way too personally... honestly, if you guys do have ranches back here, you should take the only honorable path available by hooking me up.

Well not a grudge. You work for a big Korean company you learn to have very thick skin. Let's put it this way, you don't like my way of thinking, and I don't like your way of commenting.

Oh I did call you a opportunistic hypocrite. That I'll admit. But you did call me that a while back, so now we're even on that particular matter.
