"You should have seen the lightbulb go on when I suggested that maybe they gave American beef the same smear-job treatment they gave to dentists last year, in order to benefit Korean beef farmers."

Roboseyo, that was no lightbulb. You can't make Koreans reason. The reacton was simply contextual - Korean belief simply reflects the group and its prevalent trend. Take it from someone who knows.

I wouldn't be so worried about Mad Cow Diseases because I have already eaten British beef too much!

However, I don't agree with people who say LMB is a competent president.

My point is when pawi did his anti-expat comments, none of the kyopos came forward and told him to cut it out. No kyopos made fun of his comments.

Well, at the same time, when anti-Korean comments get made, I don't see many expats jumping to cut them down. Works both ways.

Just curious: Has any Korean broadcasting company had the balls to interview Korean restaurant owners in the USA, to ask them what they think? 'Cos either they say they knowingly feed customers beef that could easily kill them, or they defy the Minjung sentiment in the old country.

bumfrom"let's give pawi a break"korea,

Why the overreaction? Man, seeing you react like that to my comments, surely helps prove my point. You could just ignore me but you always have to react to it. Is there something in my comments that is making you itch or something? Why the sudden spin on then"too hard on pawi" statement?

Also, what is it with you and generalization? Do you swipe out the generalization card whenever you feel you are in a corner? Let me guess you use it so that you can make non Koreans feel guilty. Nice move, but the problem is it makes you look not like a jackass unfortunately, but pathetic.
