Korea Looking into Sending Cops to Afghanistan

by mins0306 on April 23, 2008

The Korean government is looking into sending at least 10 policemen to help train the Afghan police, after informing the US that it will be difficult to resend troops to Afghanistan.  The cops will be stationed at the Afghan police academy and will not take part in any activities other than the training of Afghan cops.

Reality meets rhetoric.

Sounds like that joke about Canada promising to send troops and ships to Iraq with the US. What was it? 200 men and 5 battleships… but after the exchange rate, 2 mounties and a canoe.

yeah, back when the exchange rate wasn’t just about 1:1, and those jokes actually made sense. Nowadays it’s more like “Canada promised to send 200 troops, and after the exchange rate conversion, they sent. . . uh, 198 troops. Hwa ha ha!”

I just hope this police training expedition isn’t sponsored by Saemmul Church, is all.

The Tali’s aren’t gonna like this. They will see this as a breach (in spirit) to the agreement that was hashed out last year to get those hostages freed. Sad to say, but it’s likely that one of those 10 policemen will be kidnapped and beheaded.

It’s amazing just how strongly the Tali’s have bounced back over there…

Bad ideal to renage on the Muslims.
They’ll try to kidnap and kill those 10 cops.
This time there will be no negotiations.

Kidnapping Evangelical missionaries are one thing, cops are another.

BTW its renege not renage.

Stupid craven fools…

The answer to the initial kidnapping should have been “We’re going to send a brigade, plus another for each hostage you kill”.

Sadly, it looks like Korean men are turning into gay little dhimmis who eagerly await their Muslim masters.

The old Bank of Korea building in Namdemun even says “Bank of Korea, Muslim” now…

The patriots who died trying to keep Korea free must be cursing the would-be slaves running free around these days…

At least now the Afghan police will have good instructors teaching them how to sleep on duty and enforce laws some of the time.

#3: You’d better tell the Talis how strongly they’ve bounced back, since they don’t seem to know it, seeing as how they’ve skipped their spring offensive this year.

What to add on the ludicrous idea of Korean cops as trainers?

#6: re “gay little dhimmis” –

It would be horrible if the United States didn’t have an enemy, huh?

The early 90s after communism collapsed was a terrible time for the American military and those of us who believe peace results in a glory shortage.

But fear not – a new enemy to hate has been found! We’ll just try to ignore the fact that Islam is 1400 years old and we never really gave a shit about it before.

It’s such a relief that JihadWatch is there to give the few, the proud and the brave a whole new set of pejoratives to demonize a billion people, replacing “Commie”, “Pinko” and “Stalinist”, which don’t have the power they used to. “Dhimmi” is a particularly great one to throw at people who don’t share our righteous hate.

While writing “dhimmi” on a Korean-themed blog a bunch of times feels really good, perhaps our time would be better spent protesting in front of the White House against the Republican government’s eternal support of the truly hate-driven country that spawned bin Laden and the majority of the September 11th hijackers: Saudi Arabia.

You can bet that THESE 10 will learn pretty quickly not to drive around with flashing lights.

So will someone now explain to me how the new trust-based relationship in furtherance of common values announced by LMB is different and better than the equal partnership proclaimed by his predecessor The Great Pretender?
