He obviously saw the light and the light ain’t Korea.
Too bad that after taking the golden shower, he’s now taking the golden manacles. He could perform a real service if he spoke a little truth to power instead.

Ryback: “You need to reduce the amount of regulation in your banking industry to attract foreign investment.”
Financial Supervisory Service: “You not Korean people.”
@5. Amen to that; it’s already happening – see the comments of the “New Beginnings Group”, Korea’s new Fifth Column of Stockholm syndromnites: http://ksp.stanford.edu/research/new_beginnings_postelection_prospects_for_usrok_relations/
Where’s the fifth column? Who has Stockholm syndrome? Who gave it to them? Can someone please interpret #7 for me?
Ryback was contracted for six months to bring Korean finance managers up to speed on the new Basel accord. I doubt there was ever any intention for his services other than as expert training the locals. Mission accomplished.
