I love photographing architecture, and the occupation-era buildings in Seoul are some of the most interesting, so I welcome this initiative wholeheartedly. Korea needs to look after any of the older buildings that are left in this country, be they Choseon or occupation-era.

Wow, what a thoughtful insight regarding a way of dealing with the legacy of the Japanese occupation here on the peninsula. It's a good thing that so many other people here have the same balanced and coherent views just expressed.

this is a bad idea. why should the korean tax payer have to foot the bill for this? these kinds of things should be locked in a vault and allowd to collect dust. they serve no purpose.

if i had my way, i'd destroy them.
