Robert, is SEOUL magazine free distribution, or paid subscription?
Wrong thread, but my mother absolutely loved your pictures of cherry blossoms in Jeongdok Library. Our family used to go to the streaks of one in 여의도.
Nice shots as usual Robert — although that first one of the doorway is pretty cliché — who hasn’t taken that one?
I’m glad that you’re doing Haein-sa — i’m taking my Korean Buddhism class there for a Temple-Stay-in-English weekend-program at the end of this month… expected to be wonderful.
After watching the Nyusu Hu expose the other day, I can’t see a Korean monk without wondering what kind of luxury import car he drives. Porsches are apparently a fave with the Chogye crowd.
A priori, it seems to be a Confucian (i.e., Chinese) temple? Looks similar to many I see in Greater China.
