When I’m 56, if I’m in the position to look for a bride again, I will definitely be looking in the vicinity of 23.

As for Aaron’s position on the old gent learning Vietnamese, it’s a proven fact of language acquisition that the young are better at it. Plus it’s easier to acquire a language if one is living in a place where that language is used. It’s more effective for that hot young thing to be learning Vietnamese. When I’m 56, I doubt I’ll be picking up much in the way of new languages.

Five days to meet, and get married? Even if they spoke the same language, what could they possably learn about each other in that time?

She’s not trying hard enough to learn Korean, according to him, brilliant. He doesn’t/won’t speak Vietnamese. Methinks that unless you can communicate in one of each other’s languages, or even a third tongue, you should not be entering into an international marriage like this.
