Gwangmyeong, what a hole.
was discussing this article with my Korean friend. She points out that international marriage seems to be a-ok if certain boy parts are a certain color.
What color? I am confusing -_-;;;
Well, she said “yellow”, but that confused me also
If your penis is yellow, it’s time for a trip to the urologist.
Damn…mother in law came back after running away twice for 12 hours.
I’d be wishing she run away and not come back.
“I’m a working man, and she doesn’t understand that going out drinking with your co-workers is a necessity in Korean culture,” Mr. Kim said.
Man… if only that excuse ever worked for me…
Oh, and another classic line:
“I don’t want to sound as if I’m looking down on Thuy,” he said. “But if I had married someone who was more educated or taller, I don’t think she would have been happy here with me. So I think we are a good match for each other.”
Ms. Vien, 23, lives at the family home of her husband, Kim Wan-su, 40, a factory worker. Ms. Thuy, 23, settled with her husband, Kim Tae-goo, 56, in Yongju, a rural town southeast of Seoul where they grow apples.
Wow. As if 40 and 23 wasn’t bad enough, but 56 and 23. Damn.
She’s not trying hard enough to learn Korean, according to him, brilliant. He doesn’t/won’t speak Vietnamese. Methinks that unless you can communicate in one of each other’s languages, or even a third tongue, you should not be entering into an international marriage like this.
aaronm is your profile pic the guy from SMA? LMFAO
Five days to meet, and get married? Even if they spoke the same language, what could they possably learn about each other in that time?
56 and 23 ? They have some hurdles to overcome.
Good luck to both of them.
the bride looked hot in the pic, better than a lot of the indigenous girls here.
Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it, nimrod.
When I’m 56, if I’m in the position to look for a bride again, I will definitely be looking in the vicinity of 23.
As for Aaron’s position on the old gent learning Vietnamese, it’s a proven fact of language acquisition that the young are better at it. Plus it’s easier to acquire a language if one is living in a place where that language is used. It’s more effective for that hot young thing to be learning Vietnamese. When I’m 56, I doubt I’ll be picking up much in the way of new languages.
Brendon:
You underestimate the effectiveness of consulting the long-haired dictionary while doing the horizontal mambo.
#2,
I don’t know what your friend is talking about… overseas brides from Asia is popular with white guys also.
“But if I had married someone who was more educated or taller, I don’t think she would have been happy here with me. So I think we are a good match for each other.”
Yes, i’m sure that marrying someone taller makes for a difficult marriage. Sure do hate those damn low doorways.
