		<description>I think it has some good stuff, but that NYT piece is definitely for readers without blogs, or for those who've never read anything about blogging before. I think it also kind of implies that there are some hard and fast rules for blogging, whereas by coincidence skelliewag.org's most recent post (link below) describes no less than 25 completely different routes for a blog to become popular.

I personally recommend that site for the best blogging advice available anywhere. I've incorporated a lot of her suggestions into my own blog in the last two months or so, and while I like to think that working harder on my content has something to do with it too, it's probably no coincidence that my daily visitor numbers have jumped 400% in just 5 weeks!</description>
