SFAC Seoul Walking Tours

If you’re not doing anything this Sunday, or even if you are, the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture will have its first walk of 2008. This is a very interesting program, and there are still spots open for this Sunday, so please, think about joining.

FYI, I won’t be co-leading the tours this year. Architect Cho In-souk will be handling the entire tour — she’s a very interesting and knowledgeable women, so if you’ve got an interest in Seoul’s history and architecture, this is an excellent opportunity to learn a lot.

This Sunday’s tour will take focus on the area around Seoul Station. The tour course is as follows:

Course: Former Seoul Main Station→Sohn Kee-Chung Memorial Hall→Jungnimdong (Yak-hyeon) Catholic Church→Seosomun Martyrs park→Joongang Daily News Headquarters and Korea Foundation Cultural Center

The tour will begin at 2:00, but you must tell them beforehand that you’re going (I believe there’s a fee involved, too). If you’re interested, please send an email to one of the addresses below, preferably today:
