If you’re not doing anything this Sunday, or even if you are, the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture will have its first walk of 2008. This is a very interesting program, and there are still spots open for this Sunday, so please, think about joining.
FYI, I won’t be co-leading the tours this year. Architect Cho In-souk will be handling the entire tour — she’s a very interesting and knowledgeable women, so if you’ve got an interest in Seoul’s history and architecture, this is an excellent opportunity to learn a lot.
This Sunday’s tour will take focus on the area around Seoul Station. The tour course is as follows:
Course: Former Seoul Main Station→Sohn Kee-Chung Memorial Hall→Jungnimdong (Yak-hyeon) Catholic Church→Seosomun Martyrs park→Joongang Daily News Headquarters and Korea Foundation Cultural Center
The tour will begin at 2:00, but you must tell them beforehand that you’re going (I believe there’s a fee involved, too). If you’re interested, please send an email to one of the addresses below, preferably today:
