Sickening Stuff

Police have arrested a suspect in the murder of two Anyang schoolgirls — ages 8 and 10 — whose bodies were found dismembered and buried at two separate locations.

A third schoolgirl is still missing.

The suspect is denying involvement, but:

Police focused their search on neighbors and nearby facilities, based on criminologists’ opinion that the suspect could be an isolated middle-aged man acquainted with the two girls. During the search, Jeong said he was staying home on the day the girls went missing, but police later found from a car rental service that he had rented a car at around 10 p.m. on Dec. 25 and returned it the next day.

Police discovered blood traces in the trunk of the New EF Sonata rented by Jeong, and investigators from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation found that the DNA of the blood matched those of the two girls.

Still, eight other people rented that car after Jeong, so we’ll have to watch to see how the investigation turns out.

Meanwhile, in Yangju, a 29-year-old illegal alien from the Philippines has confessed to murdering a 13-year-old middle school girl during an attempted rape.

UPDATE: The prime suspect in the Anyang disappearances/murders is admitting he killed a kid and dumped the body, but he isn’t saying who.

Well, it’s not that difficult to pinpoint the time of death, really, so it won’t matter that someone else has rented the car if it was a week or even a couple of days after he did.

By all rights, most Americans who make comments like that should kick themselves out.

My prediction is that this latest piece of shit will blame Korea’s imperfect society for his problems. Serial killers, washed up baseballers/murderers, and historical monument burners these days all seem to have something in common: Korean society is somehow to blame for them being assholes. (Not saying the place is perfect, but…)

I’m in debt! I never got into SNU! I don’t drive a Grandeur! I have trouble getting laid! Somehow that gives somebody the licence to murder people? I liked it better a few years back when a lot of these guys would just jump into the Han River and not feel the need to ruin other families’ lives along the way.

bipolar mindscrew,

you have a bias against americans? should I assume if a canadian, or aussie made such a comment then it would be alright in your eyes?

#5, you read my #3 w/o noting #2′s flag? To answer your question, yes, I have a bias against Americans, especially bigoted ones. And no, it would not be alright.

As opposed to bigots of other nationalities? By all rights, most PEOPLE who make comments like Stacked’s should kick themselves out.

I have a bias against Americans, especially bigoted ones.

So wait a second… You can be bigoted, but Americans can’t? That just doesn’t make any logical sense. I would think that the bigoted Americans would be the least offensive to you, rather than the most. After all, you’re on the same page as them, so to speak.

In general, it appears that most Koreans can be bigots because they were, and really still are in fact, victims. At least in their own eyes.

Everyone else can not be bigots because no other nation has had such a tragic history as Korea/Koreans has/have had.

Not to mention they are kind, friendly, warm-hearted, peace loving, innocent people who have never done anything to cause anyone harm in anyway.

When it comes to criticizing anything about Korea/Koreans, it is the outsiders who are always the bigots.

For example, if a white/black American says Koreans are stealing jobs from Americans, he’s a racist and Koreans hate him.

A Korean guy says that he hates white guys because they are stealing Korean women, he’s a patriot not a racist.

In the end, what happened is pathetic and tragic. I feel bad for the family.

Unfortunetly, I have to also be grateful that an American or foreign “white” or “black” guy who isn’t a soldier didn’t do it. We all know what would probably happen, don’t we?

I forgot how easily one can be baited by trolls… I shouldn’t respond to them anymore. JohnT you’re right on both counts.

There’s plenty of bigots in Canada to be found, Bipolar. Try not to slip into the erroneous ‘we’re such a nice society, but America is so racist’ warm sweater we Canadians like to put on and pat ourselves on the back with.

That said, #2 is idiotic.
