Two events you’ll definitely want to check out.
Firstly, at the Art Sonje Center near Samcheong-dong, there’s a memorial exhibit to photographer Kim Dae-byeok through March 5. Kim took some absolutely astounding photos of Korean hanok homes, so if you’re bored this weekend, be sure to see it.
Secondly, on March 14, Jang Sa-ik and Kim Duk-soo will be performing with the Sejong Gugak Orchestra at Gunpo Culture and Arts Center.
Folks, it just doesn’t get any better than that.
Tickets are 20,000—40,000 won. Give Gunpo Culture and Arts Center a call at 031-390-3500 for more info.

Considering the number of responses to this post, perhaps it DOES “get better than that”.
Which reminds me, Alice Cooper’s corpse has been reanimated and he’s coming to Seoul for a concert.
Well the Art Sonje Center is a lovely place and worth visiting, indeed.
Per Alice Cooper, that is really cool. This calls for a one-day drunk, complete with a time warp — in his honor. I really hope the promoters do not put him in some outdoor venue.
