I Guess LMB Will be President After All

by Robert Koehler on February 21, 2008

Sit down for this — the special prosecutor has cleared President-elect Lee Myung-bak of involvement with the 2001 “BBK” stock manipulation scam.

At times such as these, it’s always entertaining to review the video footage.

Anyway, not only is this good news for Lee personally, it also helps the Grand National Party ahead of the April parliamentary elections.

Isn’t it obvious? Not that I think LMB is guilty. But let’s say for the sake of argument that LMB is way over his head, no prosecutor/lawyer in their right mind will indict LMB for anything. I mean who wants to derail their legal career, or the opportunity to live without government harassment.

검은 머리 외국인

i also think 2mb is clean.

however, the judiciary in rok always consults chung wa dae.

this is not proper separation of powers.

well, they did say the same with noh moo hyun at helm. now, that i found admirable. but, it might have been noh’s shot call to prevent lee hwae chang from taking the crown.

…or was it?

10 yrs later, someone might spill it.

Even the Chosun Ilbo seems incredulous regarding the attempted investigation:

When the investigators returned to the independent counsel’s office, they were reportedly greeted by loud applause. What point is there in waiting for the results of the investigation when the independent counsel’s team, charged with remaining objective and free from pressure, act in such a manner?

Right . . .
