That site is hilarious. However, if you read through the list, it’s not really a description of what regular “white people” like. It’s more of a description of what “wealthy liberal-minded white people living in urban area of blue states” like.
I can almost guarantee you that practically no white person from southern Indiana, Illinois or Nebraska likes more than 20% of what is on that list.
I almost ripped my spleen on one of the responses to #11 (Asian Women) on the list. It’s mean, but I couldn’t help it:
“White men love asian women so much that they will go to extremes such as stating that Sandra Oh is sexy,”
“Sandra oh is the elephant man of asian chicks. any guy who says she’s sexy doesn’t have yellow fever he’s got disfiguraphilia. after a long search I managed to find a pic where she looks kind of alright:”

Oh my . . . ha, yes, “bbundaegi”, that quote is a howler. This is very funny indeed.

Well, after reading that blog site, I believe that the most important and striking lesson I learned was this: Finding humor in stereotyping fixed action patters of wealthy, urban blue-state affiliated liberal white people is perfectly harmless. The proof is in the pudding because alot of the comments/replies are from white people who are members of the very group that is the target of the blog’s humor. However, the replies show that almost all of the white people of whom the blog makes fun actually laugh in agreement and take it with a grain of salt.
However, the harsh (but still funny in a cruel way) comment about Sandra Oh that I mentioned in the previous post seems to me to be a statement that a Korean-American would make…which makes it even funnier. I cannot count how many of my Asian-American friends have expressed how unattractive Sandra Oh is in their eyes. On the other hand, she does not seem to garner as many disdainful comments regarding her looks within the mainstream white population of America. Personally, I think she is a talented actress.
A good example here of #63 would be Au Bon Pain in Jongno… absurdly expensive and they are stingy with the sandwich meat, but sure as day there are always white people there at lunch time.
the sandwich bit was great. I justified to myself that Korean food in US is appropriately priced if I was gonna pay that much to eat a sandwich.
Funny, I just had lunch at a pricey (albeit good) sandwich shop near my office…
Not to mention the central business in the central whitey location of Korea is now the Quizno’s in Itaewon.

Another thing white people like is to live far, far away from blacks, mexicans and other low class races. I have never seen any race get along with blacks the same with mexicans. White people like white people

Found an interesting comment on the website by a guy who goes by the name of “Tom Sawyer”. He sounds like some of the posters in here. Judging from his reasoning, it sounds as if Pawikirogi is the author of the blog!

Simple. The reason is that the “white people” to which they are referring are the conventional redneck white people in “red states.” The blog is referring to wealthy liberal white people in blue states.

The part on the sushi and fusion food reminded me of a time about ten years ago when I ordered bibimbap in Ann Arbor and it came with chopsticks. The hipster waiter looked at me like I was a cretin when I asked for a spoon to eat it with.
I think Tom Sawyer is way overanalyzing this. I think that the author could very well be white. It’s just very funny.

Some may say it doesn’t matter, but since many of his comments are more provocative (re: racist/sexist) than the white poster of that blog (Christian Lander) I think it should be noted.
