It is actually kinda smart. It seems so concerned and caring. It’s so contrary to the actual personna. “Shut up, grandma. You have a gripe, go to the blog. In the meantime bend over.”
I find it hard to believe they pore over all the comments, analyze them and fine-tune their treatment of passengers accordingly. I got a feeling it’s like a placebo. It helps to placate the disgruntled while continuing to keep the guys and gals with the latex gloves insulated. They’re not really doing anything about the complaints, they’ve just got a some fiction writer who pretends be taking it all in. It wouldn’t be that hard. He or she’s probably been to the airport, too.

…and exactly why must the answers to questions all be posted in a WMV streaming video? Grandma’s gonna have fun with that one on her AOL dialup connection.

I suspect this whole TSA security non-sense is part of an orchestrated plan to help coax the American public into deciding they actually need a national ID card/system to better protect against terrorism and illegal aliens. It is somewhat similar to the attempts on the part of the British Government to push the public towards acceptance of the same there.

I do not think it will work because Americans are far more ornery than Brits and have this real aversion to having numbers put upon their foreheads, so to speak.

Thanks for not warning us non-Americans of what the TSA is. Some of us don’t really care about giving our IP addresses to the US government, you know.

Uh . . . you are in Korea, right? It is a big deal having a Korean IP address!?

FYI, I get more harassment from the criminals that work at krnic, here in Korea, than the U.S. Government will probably ever afford me.

Propaganda.Couldn’t read much, and don’t see the need.I hope I’m wrong, but I see the good ole USA turning into a corporate fascist state before long. This kind of claptrap is only a symptom.Plenty of opiates going around to pacify the masses. The industrial job base that keeps the middle class viable is being continuously eroded. The uberrich keep getting richer, with no conscience to guide them.Freedom is doomed.

I just noticed this thread is entitled “The Evolution of Stupidity.” I’ve seen it evolve right before my eyes.

#1, thanks for the chuckle.

In my grandfather’s day, the WPA stood for “We Piddle Around.”
