As for the "lasting impact" -- yeah, clearly she means "so far".  In the days of my youth scholars of history and society would wait ten years after the dust settled to study something, but now everything's speeded up and all perspectives are shorter-term...</description>

Sounds interesting, but I'm skeptical as to how "the lasting impact" can be assessed less than two years after he was named the Super Bowl MVP.  

And, I think it should be "Hines", not "Heins" Ward.</description>
