What this article seems to be saying is that Korean men are basically scared of pussy, but will eat pussy on occasion.

Yes, but do the symptoms include rat-cramps? Hmmm...? Let me know because the pool includes a few carryovers from episodes 8 and 9.

Yeah...unless it's dysentery, which is also believed to be carried by rats.

My friends and I always try to guess the disease on the House episodes. My buddy actually nailed the leoprosy one. I got the girl that was poisoning her boyfriend.
But now I'm ready. Somebody shows up with rat-cramps I win the pool. Cholera!

You reminded me Someguy, I almost forgot: I spent a few nights in a farmhouse down in Kangjin a few years ago and they had rambunctious rats jumping and running on the roof at night. I gave me the willies at first until I saw that no one else was bothered but they did sound like they were having lots of fun.

"were notorious for their infestations of rats"

Well, the 'apartment' I lived when I first came to Korea was infested with rats. It was an old building from the 70s, maybe even the 60s. You could hear the rats scurrying behind the walls in the summer when it began to rain. My roommate bought a cat, which took care of the problem (the cat's odor must have scared off the rodents).

For an April's Fool joke a few years back, I put a system init on one designer's Mac, here in Korea, that would periodically cause the computer to emit a loud cat howl. They really jumped when their machine went off like that! That was the second-best April Fool's joke of all time.
