mins, with all due respect, there is no logic in that.

Planes crashed in almost every President's 5 year term. Some were North Korean terror projects.

Did the oil tanker leak because Roh Moo Hyun is Buddhist? But a Buddhist Korean man, who hardly if ever goes to temples?

Dept store, bridge collapse, that was all for the better. Product of military govt giving building contracts to those who brought the most bribes. No more of that, or less of that since.

Mins, I think you're just disapproving of Christians in one way or another, with a personal issue.

Kim Yong Sam tried to do right. But, his economic policy wasn't good enough.

His son chose the wrong path, but the time honored path in South Korean politics to help his father. He did nothing extraordinarily evil. It's just that they got knocked off harder, because they were riding the moral high ground horsey.

By the way, can someone explain to me why Lee In Jae is so hated? Was he a mass murderer? Did he ruin the economy? Did he steal from the govt? Did he take astronomical bribes? Did he cheat on his taxes? Is he a North Korean spy? This man had the principle and courage to separate himself from Roh Moo Hyun, saying Roh was dangerously liberal, borderline communism. Son Hak Kyu said no such thing of Chung Dong Young, who is documented to be more left than Roh Moo Hyun.

Isn't it simply boiling down to the fact that he made Kim Dae Jung mathematically able to win the Presidency?

Why is Kim Dae Jung so evil? Even assuming anyone else could have done it, if the economy didn't turn around during his term, where the hell would South Korea be standing in the world today? It's basically a dick fight between Yong Nam, Ho Nam.

Lee In Jae wouldn't be so hated if it wasn't the YN-HN dick fight.

The last time a Protestant was in the Blue House, the country practically went bankrupt. In addition there was a plane crash, a ferry capsizing in the West Sea, a department store collapse, and a bridge span falling into the Han River.

Hopefully, history won't repeat itself.

#3.

Some if not most Koreans who attend these "mega churches" are more interested in enriching themselves via the creation of "church networks". They have little or no interest in "pursuing spiritual goals."

One begins to wonder if the people who attend these mega churches are really interested in pursuing spiritual goals, or are actually interested seeking to network with the rich, powerful and influential.
