As For Mr. Huh

He earned 0.4% of the votes(about 96,000 votes) during the elections.  Not bad considering his candidacy.  Had he won 0.8%(which some people thought was a real possibility), he would have surpassed Rhee In-jae and most probably made him the butt of jokes.  (Imagine people snickering that a certain well known career politician has been surpassed by none other than Huh Kyung-young.)

Huh came a distant 7th in the elections but according to one portal site he’s no. 1 in on-line popularity garnering more clicks than the President-elect himself.  Expect him to pop up again in the 2012 elections.

No. 1 in online popularity! Like that other visionary candidate, Ronpaul!

    Popularity or infamy?

Where can I see a regional break-down of votes? A Korea Times article gives a few of the figures, but I’d like to see them all. Anyone know?

Here’s the KT article, by the way: http://www.koreatimes.co.kr/ww.....15870.html

The only reason Huh lost this election is because he wanted to. It’s all part of the plan, a plan so intelligent and cunning that you need an IQ somewhere in the 400s to even comprehend it. Oh yes, we’ll see more of Huh in the future. Oh yes.

(I couldn’t find this link of this presidential election, so I looked up my web history and finally could retrieve it.)

Yup, his support is growing slow and surely. He got about 49000 votes in 1997. That’s nearly twice as many votes in the span of 10 years. At that rate, I project he’ll return from the grave in 2107 and win the presidential elections.

In addition, there’s no limit in the cyber world. I liked his campaign song. He would get more vote, far more than Lee in Jae even closed to DLP Kwon , if it was aired on TV, he just needed bit more cash.

I have to side with sanshinseon on this one. Huh himself said that he can “control the spiritual domain.” He’s probably smart enough to figure out how to cheat death. In fact, I don’t think it would be outrageous to assume that he could use his powers to create an undead army of supersoldiers.
