Just to show that there is an element of humor in the elections, Presidential candidate Huh Kyung-young’s aide is claiming that the late President Park Chung-hee approved Huh’s marriage to Park Geun-hye. He’s also claiming that it was the late President’s dying wish to see both of them married, and thus Park should marry Huh and join him in the Blue House.
Well, Huh supposedly has an IQ of 430, so who knows, maybe Park liked the fact that the guy had an IQ of 430.
So far, no official reaction from Park or the Hannara.

Oh no, you’ve uncovered my favorite candidate! He’s a sly one. Mr Heo ran in 1997, too, on a platform of developing nuclear weapons and restoring the monarchy, great ideas actually. This time Mr Heo’s keyword seems to be 폐지, ‘abolition.’ He’d abolish many taxes and almost everything else. I won’t outline his whole platform, but his campaign videos are to the point. 1) Moving the UN HQ from NY to Panmunjeom
Erasing absolutely all personal records on marriage, divorce, etc
2) Using taxi drivers as “citizen police” as well as “national promoters” for tourists.
3) Completely banning pesticide
4) Changing the time zone so that Korea is 30min ahead of Japan (no explanation needed)
5) Abolishing virtually all taxes except for basic income taxes
6) Despite the massive cut in taxes, expand spending so that every college graduate is guaranteed some kind of income, women get 30million won every time she gives birth, each newly married couple gets 100million won,
7) Abolishing all political parties
And the list goes on… And how will he fund this? With the boost in tourism due to the moved UN HQ and increased tax revenue due to tax cuts.

That’s been done for a long while now. Taxi drivers are directing traffic and are amongst the first to welcome the tourists at Incheon airport.
Is this the same candidate who claims the ROK bought Lake Baikal and pledges to build a canal from it to the motherland?
No doubt inspired by the fact that GS of the UN is a Korean. Although IMO, if one wants to fantasize about bringing the UN HQ to Korea one might be better off picking a more saner location such as Pusan or Jeju.

Those claims could be easily proven or refuted by filing a simple freedom of information act claim in the US for all the documents it has concerning the Russia missile base in question.

I especially like the UN movement idea. Basing the UN in Panmunjom would make the idea of a UN sinecure a lot less attractive to the clowns currently inhabiting that building.
I wouldn’t be surprised if his claims of having an IQ of 430 is based on scores he got as a child since no tests that I know of for adults will give you a score that high (the difference between 130 and 100 is greater than the difference between 130 and 160, which is greater than the difference between 160 and 180. So, why go as high as 430? The difference become statistically insignificant). As a matter of fact, children’s IQ tests have no set criteria based on age and therefore are nothing more than guesses (as opposed to adult tests, which are harder and scored in correlation with the results of the general adult population). An adult could easily score high scores on a child’s IQ test, which means an adult should not claim to have a high IQ based on the results of tests for children. That’s why Mensa has retracted it’s support of vos Savant’s claims of having a 228 IQ, which she got at 13 on a child’s IQ test.
…then again, what do I know? My top score on an IQ test as an adult was only 165. That makes me a moron next to someone who got 430.
Plus, it took you 10 hours and 41 minutes to remember that little factoid.

Nah, took me 10 hours and 41 minutes to decide if I should mention it. It didn’t want to sound as if I was bragging. 165 was a one time thing. I usually score about 15 to 20 points less.
