I always thought that Paik Nam Jun was innovative in the early 80ies.
But now…
History is history sometimes.

It’s still interesting to see the original, the one that has been copied countless times.
Is this the same guy who designed the permanent exhibition near the entrance of the Seoul Art Gallery down in Kwacheon? The one with the tower of televisions? It was a good idea, but seems he’s kind of stuck.
Yep, it’s the same artist but considering the artist has died, he is *very* stuck.
There are other pieces I’ve seen in private galleries that I like more.
“Video Flag” at the Hirschorn was first set up in 1985.
