It took a month, but I finally got my Xbox 360 back last night. Or more accurately, I got a replacement Xbox last night. Which means I’ll be picking up Call of Duty 4 this weekend. I’m thinking Bioshock might be in the cards, too.

In Seoul?? I got mine replaced within 3 days when mine got the RROD back in April or May.
Bioshock,Halo 3,COD4,PGR4, Mass effect are all amazing.

I just rented COD4, that game is incredible, i’m sure you’ll enjoy it. Bioshock is pretty badass too, but it has a funny aftertaste… the type of game you love intensely while you’re playing it, and when you put it down you forget why. Maybe we’ll get a blog post out of it’s plot? It makes you think a little bit.
Just curious, When you called them, did they give you the option of getting a refurbished console the very next day?
When i did, i had to either wait for the system to be repaired (1 month) or get a refurb system (1 day), so i chose the refurb system option. They have stopped doing this now? Does your repaired console have HDMI output?
HIGHLY recommend COD4… I’ve never seen such a complex FPS multiplayer.
Mine died last week and I was given the option of repair or replace (didn’t hear anything about refurbished consoles). Replacement supposedly will take 3~4 weeks and I was told repair would have taken longer.

Games where you have to complete missions by controlling more than one player in 3D are just irritating to me. I like running around and blowing stuff up.

‘Bioshock’ is brillant. Almost as good as ‘Gears of War’. Very different games, but both very good indeed. I’m hoping COD4 or Fky for Freedom for xmas from the wife. They both look great.
Not finished BS yet so I’m no hurry.
Looking forward to GTA4 next year too, out in the 1st quarter is the news on that one.
