Today, the prosecution cleared Lee Myung-bak of all suspicions regarding the BBK scandal.
One of the points of the BBK scandal was whether or not Lee Myung-bak was the owner of the company. The prosecution says that Kim Kyung-jun was the owner of BBK, and that there is no evidence to link MB with BBK.
However, some netizens have put up posts using newspaper scraps from the Joongang and Dong-a (Korean)here and here, which makes it look like that MB set up BBK, that he was the majority share holder and took part in the management decisions of the company in question. Also, it seems like Kim Kyung-jun was simply hired to run the companies, and not someone one would call an “owner”. The netizen reaction to the above post is interesting to say the least.
Not that it’ll affect the election, but it does make interesting reading.

I think either (1) the contract with his signature is forged OR (2) MB should be prosecuted for lying and stealing investors’ money!!
But is anyone surprised that in Korea, the “prosection” is not going after someone because he’s popular.
The so-called “Prosectionr Office” in Korea is a joke. This is just another example of the fact.
