I thought my friend and blogging colleague Mr. Jackson might have been a little early in calling out the Fat Lady on the Korean presidential race.
I might have been wrong.
Prosecutors have yet to make an official announcement, but a number of papers — see the Chosun Ilbo, JoongAng Ilbo and Korea Times — are reporting that prosecutors will clear GNP presidential candidate of involvement in the BBK scandal.
Of course, we’ll have to wait until prosecutors make an announcement (either today or tomorrow), but assuming he’s cleared, this election race is over.

This election has really degraded. Mr. Moon has thrown in his hat with Chung, which is like smearing dung all over one’s body.
I think I’ve seen enough so I guess I’ll just wait for the inevitable political scandals that will be spun over time, during the next five years.
It’s the same old crap, only the names have changed.
